This is me and my parents when I was about 10/11 months old.
There are not enough words to say what my mom has taught me. She has talents and traits that I wish were bred into me and some that I am thankful they have been. My mother had the opportunity to stay at home with my brother and I after we were born. We grew up in a small town in East Texas with not a lot to do. My mom some how kept every day exciting. She worked so hard to teach us many things from learning how to crawl and walk, to teaching us our ABC's and how to read. She was 18 years old when she and my dad were married. A year and a week later they had me and 14 months later my brother. She was a young mother, just a kid herself, but somehow she taught us things beyond her years. After a few years she went from being a young mom of 2 to a mother of 3. She became an entrepreneur, delving into new things she only had dreamed of. She is my best friend, my teacher, my example and I so much want to be about her. Because of my mother (along with many other women in my life) I am who I am today because of her. I have a long ways to go to meet my personal standards of being like her, but I hope to take what she taught me and teach it to my children. I want to be just like her, and if that happens, she taught me well.
This blog will not be only about her but she is my motivation behind it. I want to try new things, teach, and gain talents that have led her to be such an incredible woman. I promise not all the moments we spend together on here will be sappy one's, but I felt the need to give a preface of what this is about. Being the mom that she taught me to be...
